First and foremost, it is the highly durable materials that we use as well as our modern processing techniques that enable us to build such high-quality vehicles. Instead of the traditional method of using individual dowels or screws to connect to the vehicle body, we use form-fitted bonded frame members and PU toothing profiles to create a highly stable connection that is free from thermal bridging, for example. Then there’s the elegant design of the roof and side wall featuring a curved roof, which ensures maximum stability and an extraordinary driving experience thanks to the warp-resistant body – not to forget just how good it looks. Why is feeling comfortable simply better?
What keeps you insulated and warm in winter protects you from the heat in summer. That’s the best way to sum up our Malibu heating and air conditioning technology. Because regardless of the time of year that you go travelling, it will always be the perfect temperature inside your Malibu vehicle. To ensure this, we specifically heat any area that is sensitive to the cold, such as the cab area, technical components, storage compartment and XL habitation door entrance area, and also deliberately allow the heat to circulate throughout the double floor. Together with the highly efficient insulation thanks to the premium RTM hard foam insulation core of the body, the resulting underfloor heating effect guarantees that the temperature inside the motorhome is always comfortable. However, when it gets really hot outside, it also remains pleasantly cool.

Happiness is at your feet. Or rather, under your feet. In our extra-large double floor storage space, to be exact. With lots of easily accessible storage spaces, it offers you the largest storage compartment in its class and all the room you could possibly need for your holiday luggage. Even bulky items of luggage such as camping furniture or skis can be quickly and easily stowed away thanks to the central through-loading storage compartment. And thanks to the LED lighting, you will always be able to see all of your luggage. The numerous large exterior hatches ensure that it is easy to load the vehicle from outside, while the large, self-supporting floor hatches in the living and kitchen area of the motorhome provide convenient access to the extra-deep, recessed storage compartments from the inside. The double floor storage space also acts as a heat store to protect your cargo from frost, which is handy when it gets colder.

The Malibu pedelec scooter garage
Large bicycles or pedelecs often have large wheels and sometimes do not fit into the rear garages of motorhomes. This is not a problem with Malibu – not even with the I/T 500 RB-QB queen-size bed model.
Malibu has developed a pedelec solution especially for the requirements of the queen-size bed models. Ingeniously simple, simply ingenious – this is how it works: Swivel the queen-size bed up briefly from the outside with a handle, push the two-wheeler into the garage using the optional slide-in system, lower the queen-size bed again.
The Malibu trick: the front wheel is lowered into the wheel well. Securely lash everything down – and you’re done. The lowering in the floor and the upward swivelling underside of the bed create a loading height of up to 124 cm. If no bike is being transported, a floor panel covers the wheel well to create a level loading surface. Inside the bedroom, the queen-size bed remains at its low, easily accessible access height at all times.
