One difference between “integrated” and “semi-integrated” motorhomes is clear to see at first glance. An integrated motorhome appears to be “one single whole” from the outside, while the cab of a semi-integrated motorhome visibly stands out from the rest of the vehicle. This is because A-Class motorhomes are built on a chassis without a cab; they are more or less custom-built on the respective chassis. This creates a wide passage between the cab and living area, which allows these motorhomes to have layouts that feel particularly spacious. Coachbuilt motorhomes, on the other hand, use chassis with cabs that have already been built on the original Fiat or Mercedes chassis. The more compact dimensions of these motorhomes mean that the vehicles handle more like a car and make them somewhat cheaper in comparison.
