Whether you buy a semi-integrated or integrated motorhome from Malibu, one thing is guaranteed as standard – unparalleled comfort. Opting for a Malibu motorhome means choosing to take travel to the next level.

If you want to know why a Malibu motorhome is the better choice, you need to go way back.

Why? Because the secret of our premium motorhomes can be found way back when Carthago was first established. Our founder Karl-Heinz Schuler is always looking for ways to make improvements – even on things that may already be considered perfection. This drive can still be felt in our company today. It is the reason why we invest more expertise, more time and more effort, and why new innovations and extra benefits in terms of technology, equipment, design and safety always find their way into our motorhomes. Always with the aim of offering you a travel experience in unparalleled comfort and without any compromises through our motorhomes. What could be better?

The difference between integrated and semi-integrated motorhomes.

One difference between “integrated” and “semi-integrated” motorhomes is clear to see at first glance. An integrated motorhome appears to be “one single whole” from the outside, while the cab of a semi-integrated motorhome visibly stands out from the rest of the vehicle. This is because A-Class motorhomes are built on a chassis without a cab; they are more or less custom-built on the respective chassis. This creates a wide passage between the cab and living area, which allows these motorhomes to have layouts that feel particularly spacious. Coachbuilt motorhomes, on the other hand, use chassis with cabs that have already been built on the original Fiat or Mercedes chassis. The more compact dimensions of these motorhomes mean that the vehicles handle more like a car and make them somewhat cheaper in comparison. Thanks to their custom-built body, integrated motorhomes from Malibu can rightly be said to make the most of the available space. And any motorhome enthusiast knows all too well just how important space is when travelling and camping, especially with several people. This seamless transition from the front to the rear also ensures that integrated vehicles have far better thermal insulation. One other difference is also easy to spot from outside. We’re talking about the cab doors. While our integrated motorhomes have one door on the driver’s side, the additional passenger door on our semi-integrated motorhomes means that there are two ways to access the cab.
